The fifth annual Youth View Awards provided a bit for every taste in this 2012 edition.

The event was hosted by Kruddy and Tami Chynn this past Saturday in Kingston, it  was packed with a lot of big names and celebrities and took place at the National Indoor Sports Center.

Kartel, that scored big last year, this time  was awarded with Favorite Local Male artist and also Favorite Dancehall Artist.

Popcaan scored big with three awards  Young, Hot and Hype Male and brought home two more awards for Ravin’: Chart-topping Song of The Year and Summer Song of the Year.

Tifa was the most decorated artist! She got five awards including, Favorite Female Dancehall artist, Young, Hot and Hype Female as well as Female Artist of the Year.

When Popcaan touched the stage the crowd started to shout,  scream and it went totally crazy as he sang his classics hits such as Clea , Only Man She Want, Party Shot and a few others until a rain of confetti closed the celebration after Popcaan’s gig.
