Jamaican Reggae artist Jah Cure’s latest album ‘World Cry’ has been finally released and it’s available as digital release from Jah Cure’s website.

This is the new album, since the 2009’s – Universal Cure album. The World Cry Reggae album was first announced for release in early 2011 and many of the songs were completed in 2010.

Cure s new album, WORLD CRY, is his second recorded album since his release from prison. The first single off that album, Unconditional Love, recorded with his label mate Phyllisia, recently shot to the top of the charts and became the #1 Reggae single worldwide.

That collaboration was the first of many for Cure on the upcoming album. The album contains collaborations with Mavado, MDMA, Jazmine Sullivan and several others, crossing the reggae, hip-hop, Latin, Pop and R&B genres.

Jah Cure‘s new studio album features 14-song set released with Miami’s SoBe Entertainment Group, which is also the team behind the Jamaican artist management for for the past few years, after they signed him in 2008.

‘World Cry’ focus on love and relationships, and his controversial rape case and following incarceration that lasted 7 years came out through the tunes included in the ‘World Cry’ Album.

Part of the album is the single – World Cry and the official video, that come out this month, is a tribute to our world, with the lyrics pointing out all the problems of the World, mentioning the recent facts in Egypt and Libya, Japan’s earthquake and even the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico .

Reggae music and reggae artists have always use their music and their lyrics to try to change things.

Jah Cure’ World Cry‘ follows on that tradition and uses the power of reggae music to bring different messages to the listeners with empowering positive messages in each song.
