- Gaza fans and Kartel’s fans as Kartel himself did not take the news too well, over all the fact that Popcaan‘s is getting close to Gully Mavado and recording music with him ,annoyed some hardcore Gaza fans and Kartel’s own entourage.
- Popcaan does not care and keeps releasing new music and commenting on the latest controversies via his lyrics, like the new track “Gangsta Way” voiced on the Boom Bap Riddim, which is produced by Funk Master Flex and will be featured in his upcoming and popular mixtape “Who You Mad At? Me Or Yourself?” PT 2
- Voicing on Boom Bap Riddim also veteran dancehall reggae artists Mavado and Sean Paul on a tune called “In The Ghetto”.
