- Demarco will release the album simultaneously with the premiere of a 10-minute long music video with Shaggy for “Do It Again” another stand alone single featured in Demarco’s album.
- Talking about the release of Melody, Demarco, real name Collin Demar Edwards, said he is happy to finally get this project off the ground.
- The album is produced by Ineffable Records, a music label that has already worked with the likes of others Jamaican stars like Konshens, Gyptian, Collie Budz and Kes the Band.
- Demarco cemented his name in the music industry penning and producing his own songs and other artists songs, like Rhianna and Bounty Killer, also a main guest on the album, so with his album Melody, Demarco applied his numerous talents to the project, writing all the songs and handling production on all but four tracks. He also directed all the videos for the tracks that have been released so far.
