- The Queen of dancehall has confirmed that she suffered a ruptured hernia and sepsis in the past weeks, without getting too much into medical details she released a statement to her fans and followers.
- The statement has been shared to her official Instagram account this past Wednesday, and Spice confirmed that she has been rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery.

- “I suffered a damage hernia a few days ago that sent my body into sepsis, as a result I was rushed to the hospital for immediate surgery.”
- She addressed in a line all the rumors that have been circulating in the past weeks : that she was in a coma and had suffered a heart attack (which were debunked by her agent), following cosmetic enhancement surgery in the Dominican Republic.

“As you know I’ve been off Social Media for a while to rest mentally, so little did I know that during my medical scare it was already been said that I had a heart attack, I was in a Coma, and I also died 🤷🏾♀️but none of that is true,” she wrote.
