Jamaican dancehall music has lost another young dancehall recording act to street gun violence.
The latest victim, popular recording artist Kapella Don, whose real name is Javan Willie, was a Montego Bay-based artist. He was shot dead by an unknown assailant in Montpelier, St James about this past Thursday.

- The new year is not starting with a positive outlook for the community under a new gun violent accident. Last year, the entertainment fraternity was not unscathed as Jamaica recorded more than 1,400 murders, according to the preliminary numbers from the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
