- A man and a woman were found dead early Saturday morning outside a motel in the Bronx.
- Police say they found a 50-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman with gunshot wounds to the head in the parking lot of the Holiday Motel just after 3 a.m. Saturday. Both were pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

- Friends said the song was aimed at Joseph Kernizan, 42, the man cops are now accusing for killing Hamilton and his lover Tracy Bennett early Saturday night, where the couple had booked a room.
- People close to Hamilton had repeatedly cautioned him to break off the affair, warning him that Kernizan was “a serious man,” dancehall artist Wickerman told Jamaican entertainment news site One876Entertainment on Saturday.
- Bennett and Hamilton were about to get in her car when cops say they were confronted by Kernizan, a music promoter from Long Island who went by the nickname of “Country.”
