Stephen Ragga Marley, finally released the awaited (6 years) second installment of his album, Revelation Part I: The Root of Life (2011).

Revelation Part II The Fruit Of Life, is finally here.

While “The Root of Life” is more a traditional roots reggae album, “The Fruit of Life” uses different type of sounds, not just familiar to reggae, to express the far-reaching impact Jamaican music has had on various genres, especially hip hop, which contaminates this second part of the project more.

“The Root Of Life” was more a sort of acoustic, introspective and more spiritual project, while “The Fruit Of Live” is more oriented in the present and in the future, and showcase Stephen versatility.

Produced by Marley, the new album “Fruit of Life” boasts 18 new tracks and features a variety of guest collaborations including Rick Ross, Pit Bull, Damian ‘Jr. Gong’ Marley, Iggy Azalea, Waka Flacka Flame, Dead Prez, Rakim, DJ Khaled, Busta Rhymes, Wyclef Jean, Shaggy, Black Thought (of The Roots), Bounty Killer, Sizzla, Capleton, Ky-Mani Marley, Jo Mersa and more.

Stephen ‘Ragga’ Marley, is son of reggae legend Bob Marley and Rita Marley. Raised in Kingston, Jamaica he started his music career very young, like many other Jamaican superstars of our days, with his elder siblings Ziggy, Sharon and Cedella as The Melody Makers.

Stephen Marley is a singer, songwriter, musician and producer that already landed #1 on the U.S. Billboard Reggae Album Chart for all of his solo albums and has already collected a total of eight Grammys for Best Reggae Album.
