- About Mavado Mr Laing said he arrived late at Sting and couldn’t change and get ready with the band in time and that was the biggest turn off of this year edition for the Supreme promoter. Beenie Man was given 100 passes, not money, to go to Sting, but didn’t make it on stage.

- The show begun Monday Dec 26 with Toya that created some buzz throwing money on the audience while performing her song.
- Right after her performance was Food Kartel , on against Kushenco in an animated lyrical food battle that wasn’t war yet. Gully youth Flexx performed next. He took stage with Gulliance artist Kibaki, they both gave a vibrant performance that was appreciated by the audience, slowly growing impatient to see the biggest acts.
- It was around 3 am that real war started with Specialist taking stage addressing the first clash Specialist – Hurricane. Specialist won. The next clash was Merciless going up against KipRich, the new and improved Ninja Man, as he ‘s been called lately.
- Kippo was dressed for war and destroyed Merciless making the clash look so easy, he left the stage asking Isaiah Laing to send some other artist to clash him.
- The next ting was the battle between Alliance artist Iyara, and former Gaza artist Deva Brat. Iyara won the battle calling a woman with a baby on stage and encouraged the child to say something. Over the speakers came a baby’s voice, complaining that “Deva Brat touch me” . The audience exploded!
- Was early morning when Twin of Twins and Tony Matterhorn battled so maybe because of that many complained both acts weren’t at their best.
- Twins of Twins went on stage dressed like Star Wars warriors but got defeated. Is not all : Patrick Gaynor, one of the two members of Twins Of Twins , who goes by the name of Curly Lox, was the only artist to be slapped with charges following his performance at the one-night reggae festival at the Jamworld Village, in Portmore – St Catherine on Tuesday night.
- He will face the court early next year after being charged with disorderly conduct and using indecent language .
- Aidonia with fellow J.O.P members Navino and Deablo, Khago, Teflon and Zamunda all gave good performances deejaying along their hit singles.
- Former-Gaza members Jah Vinci and Black Ryno also hyped up the crowd ,which responded with gas torches and fireworks to their gig.
- Gyptian and Bounty Killer delivered excellent shows as well as Popcaan all alone on the big stage. The same is true for Tommy Lee, Twins Of Twins and Tony Matterhorn.

Sting 2011 lived up to its promises and brought back dancehall warfare, revamping the show from last year ashes.
