Jamaican superstar Sizzla Kalonji, real name Miguel Collins, was hit by a bus on wed. 24 August 2011, around 8 pm and the driver fled the scene, he never stopped his run after the accident.

Sizzla is still listed in critical but stable conditions and he was transported to a hospital in Kingston, from St Ann Bay Hospital yesterday morning.

The artist suffers of broken arms and ribs and a fractured collar bone and also a ruptured liver that it’s giving internal bleeding.

As news regarding the accident started to spread, the hospital went packed like a music show: a lot of people showed up.

Fans, supporters, family and  friends all converged to the facility , in hundreds. The artist’s manager released this statement:

“ As strong and resilient as his messages, we look forward seeing him on a powerful journey towards healing.He is surrounded by lots of love from his family and friends.Please continue to keep him in your prayers. The family is pleased with the outpour of love that has been coming from all over the island and internationally”.

The family of Miguel Collins and the staff of Kalonji Musik would like to thank everyone for praying for Sizzla Kalonji and sending him positive energy.

They are asking the fans of the artist to give him few days to recover therefore the hospital information where he is located right now will not be disclosed.
