Let’s catch up with Adidja Palmer aka Vybz Kartel and all the the new music that producers keep releasing and that still sounds good no matter where, when and how it was recorded.

Vybz Kartel‘s birthday is approaching, Adidja Azim Palmer was born on January 7 and, sadly, he will spend another Earth Strong in jail.

 This is the second one, while waiting for the upcoming next court dates that are scheduled for January 14 – for the conspiracy trial with Pim Pim and Vanessa Saddler aka Gaza Slim. 

Then, again, World Boss will face another crucial trial date for the murder charges on January 21st.

Vybz Kartel  made headlines again recently when, at the beginning of the year, the NPR, which is run by the National Prison Radio Association, broadcasted to more than 80,000 prisoners across the United Kingdom, said his songs are the second most requested songs in UK prisons, beaten only by deceased American rapper Tupac.

Other jamaican dancehall artists featured on the list are Gyptian (10th place), Jah Cure (11th place ), Bob Marley (14th place) and Mavado (18th place), this is according to National Prison Radio (NPR) 2012 playlist.

Kartel voiced also on Night Fever Riddim, that has not been released yet, as Jupiter Riddim from UIM Records and Anju Blaxx, that features another new Vybz Kartel‘s tune  “Convertible”, as well as the new Popcaan “Clean Stamp” song and Tommy Lee Sparta “Bravery“.
