- Jamaica based Kwashawna Records, the relatively new but already popular dancehall music label owned by Shawn Campbell, aka Shawn Storm, Kartel’s co-accused, dropped the awaited dancehall music riddim Mama Koka Riddim.
- The Jamaican music label has been making strides and making its name in the music industry with hit riddims, such as “Tanbad Riddim”, which features singles from Worl’Boss Vybz Kartel and Chan Dizzy among others. and most recently “Kuminar riddim” featuring various dancehall and reggae stars such as Voicemail, Gage and Konshens and one of Kartel‘s best song of 2015, In My Life.
- Kwashawna Records label has recently added three artist to their catalog who will be making their debut appearance on upcoming projects, recording artist Jahvillani who was signed in May and is also now featured on Mama Koka riddim, Pink Eye riddim and Pressure riddim.
- Songstress Shana Bliss and Likkle Miss, who will both be featured on the Liberty riddim, Pink Eye riddim and Love Train riddim.
- Distributed by digital giant 21st Hapilos Digital, Mama Koka which will include international dancehall star Vybz Kartel, Gage, Shawn Storm, Masicka, just to name a few, and the whole female lineup Liberty Riddim are slated to soon be released.
