- World Boss Vybz Kartel and co-accused faced today their 13th day in trial at the Home Circuit Court in downtown Kingston.
- Yesterday Kartel’s trial was adjourned early due to lack of witnesses to take the stand and a large crowd gathering outside the court.
- Justice Lennox Campbell granted the attorneys time to meet with a telecommunication expert from Digicel.

- The meeting was initially scheduled for Monday, but was delayed because the lawyers were told the system was down for maintenance. The judge also requested that the Director of Public Prosecution, DPP, got involved to ensure these persons make themselves available.There is also a handwriting analysis being done on a letter the prosecution star witness allegedly sent to Public Defender Earl Witter.
- This morning,Sharon Bryson, a government forensic scientist, gave her testimony in court.
- She told the court that the blood stain found at Vybz Kartel’s house in Havendale did not match the DNA from a uncle of the victim. As a result, she cannot confirmed if it was CliveWilliams’ blood. Bryson said that a swab was taken from a man supposed to be Williams’ uncle but the DNA samples did not match.
- Under cross-examination by defence attorney Tom Tavares-Finson Bryson said that if it was said by the police that William’s blood was found at the Kartel’s house that information would not have come from her.
- Cross-examined by Kartel’s lawyer, Tom Tavares-Finson, the analyst said she also visited the scene at the Havendale house and collected samples of blood. Bryson said she conducted tests to find out if it was the blood of the deceased but she was not able to ascertain ownership of the blood.
- She also told the court that any report that ‘Lizard’ Williams’ blood was found at the Havendale would not have come from her.
- Another defence lawyer, Michael Lorne, questioned who suggested that sample should be taken from the alleged uncle.
- “At the lab, we would ask for family members, since we were not getting a body,”she answered. She also said they would ask for parents, children or near relatives.
- The Government analyst said a policeman from the Portmore Police station brought the uncle. Police Corporal, Shawn Howard, from the Organized Crime Investigation Division is now testifying.
- At this point with the main witness admitting to lie, with the body never found and blood not belonging to the alleged victim, let Adidja Palmer walk free.
