The Jamaican born singer-songwriter possesses an exotic coolness that is accentuated in both her sound and visuals.
While a cool kid is normally intimidating, Toian’s “good vibes only” demeanor makes her approachable and “wanna get to know-able”. For most people that means having to live up to the expectations of others, for her it means radiating mystery, “it’s easier to keep them guessing” she says.

- Raised on the west coast of Jamaica, Toian was an island style wild child. Never bad, but always fun-loving and entertaining, her parents knew they had something special. Toian‘s introduction to music came from within the walls of her island home where her mother would invite friends over to watch her perform.
- The love of music within her household allowed Toian to hone her music ability and become the sultry, smooth singer she is today. After being the lone survivor of a fatal car accident at 17, music became the light in the dark for Toian during her recovery. She decided to leave her island home in pursuit of a musical career once she had recuperated enough.
- Today, Toian is a self-sufficient creative. She writes, produces, and does the editing work on many of her projects in a creative space right outside of Miami.
- In 2015 she released her debut project Retrospect, five tracks long of Reggae vibes intermixing past, present and future reflecting on some of her personal experiences.
